I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in private practice. I provide evidence-based care to breastfeeding / chestfeeding /  lactating families.

I provide my services in your home or virtually / tele-health. I currently offer virtual visits only.

I serve families throughout greater Boston, in and around the following towns:

Abington • Allston • Arlington • Ashland • Attleboro • Avon • Back Bay • Belmont • Boston • Braintree • Bridgewater • Brighton • Brockton • Brookline • Cambridge • Canton • Chestnut Hill • Concord • Dedham • Dorchester • Dover • Easton • Foxborough • Framingham • Franklin • Hanover • Hingham • Holbrook • Holliston • Hyde Park • Jamaica Plain • Lexington • Lincoln • Mansfield • Mattapan • Medfield • Medway • Milford • Millis • Milton • Natick • Needham • Newton • Norfolk • Norwood • Quincy • Randolph • Readville • Rockland • Roslindale • Roxbury • Sharon • Sherborn  • Somerville • South Boston • South End • Stoughton • Sudbury • Walpole • Waltham • Watertown • Wayland • Wellesley • Weston • West Roxbury • Westwood •  Weymouth • Wrentham

Besides lactation consultations in the privacy of your home, I offer classes and support groups on all things lactation.  Many parents wish that they had learned more about breastfeeding before their baby was born.  The classes are held in a group setting, or you may schedule a private class. Support groups and classes are available to pregnant and lactating parents. Learning from and observing other parents can be super helpful.

Gift certificates for consultations are available! These make great baby shower and new baby gifts!

I am in network with Aetna. For my clients with different insurance plans, I provide documentation (a superbill receipt) for seeking reimbursement. Blue Cross Blue Shield, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts usually reimburse their members for lactation care. I have seen Cigna and United Healthcare reimburse their members, but it’s usually more challenging. The Affordable Care Act promises lactation care as preventive women’s health care. Speak to the insurance commissioner of Massachusetts if your insurance company does not provide this care: (617) 521-7794. Unfortunately, MassHealth does not reimburse for lactation care, but there are nurse practitioners and nurse midwives who have lactation knowledge and who can bill MassHealth after your appointment with them. WIC has IBCLCs on staff.
